The University Centre Yeovil

We offer a wide range of full and part-time courses many of which can be studied to Foundation degree or Honours degree level.  Access courses are also available if you would like to build your knowledge and confidence before embarking on an HE course.

The University Centre was created to give people in Somerset , Dorset and the surrounding areas easy access to high qulaity Higher Education.  Our aim is to give you the opportunity to fulfil your potential and gain qualifications and knowledge to improve job prospects and help you gain promotion.   

Students enjoy small, friendly classes, on a seperate campus, with support from professional and industry experienced staff.

The University Centre Yeovil (UCY) is a partnership between Yeovil College and Bournemouth University, The University of the West of England, The University of Gloucestershire Swansea Metropolitan University and Yeovil College.  The University Centre Yeovil is located on Preston Road in the heart of Yeovil, but set back from this busy thoroughfare and surrounded by trees, shrubs and ample parking.

The building, purchased by Bournemouth University and refurbished to a very high standard, contains a 100 seat lecture theatre, eight teaching rooms seating between 12 and 30 students, an AppleMac design suite, two state of the art PC suites and an open study area with ample IT access and café area . This is backed up by the resources of nearby Yeovil College including an extensive library, fitness centre and sports hall. More >>
