Discover the benefits of Part-time Higher Education study

-Want to reduce the cost of a Uni course by up to 60%?
-Need to work full-time or look after children but still want a degree?
-Want to progress your career without giving up work?

These are some of the benefits of study a part-time University level course. The majority of part-time courses allow students to retain full-time employment or care for children whilst obtaining a degree, and they are often considerably cheaper than full-time courses.

With increasing competition for full-time places at University and the government capping the amount of full-time place that universities can offer there is likely to be some students that are unable to find a full-time place this year, however there are no caps on part-time courses so if you are looking to study a degree but can not find a full time place why not consider part-time study.

The University Centre Yeovil

We offer a wide range of full and part-time courses many of which can be studied to Foundation degree or Honours degree level.

The University Centre Yeovil (UCY) is a partnership between Yeovil College and Bournemouth University but students on courses validated by the University of the West of England and Exeter University also study in the Centre.  The UCY is located on Preston Road in the heart of Yeovil, but set back from this busy thoroughfare and surrounded by trees, shrubs and ample parking.

The building, purchased by Bournemouth University and refurbished to a very high standard, contains a 100 seat lecture theatre, eight teaching rooms seating between 12 and 30 students, an AppleMac design suite, two state of the art PC suites and an open study area with ample IT access and café area . This is backed up by the resources of nearby Yeovil College including an extensive library, fitness centre and sports hall. More >>
