Forensic Science

Who is this course for? This course is for anyone looking to enter the constantly evolving and ground breaking world of Forensic Science. This course will teach the facts and methods of the biological and chemical sciences which underpin forensic science, as well as the specific methods and applications of forensic science itself, with particular emphasis on general and forensic photography skills.

 

What will I study?

Year 1:

  • Biology for Forensic Science
  • Chemistry for Forensic Science
  • Forensic Science and Crime Scene Investigation
  • Study and Analytical Skills
  • Work Based Learning (Year 1)
  • Introduction to Photography for Forensic Science

 

Year 2:*

  • Molecular Genetics
  • Instrumental Analytical Science
  • Forensic Examination of materials
  • Scientific Research Methods
  • Work Based Learning (Year 2)
  • Advanced Techniques for Forensic Photography
