What were you doing before you came to the UCY?
I had just moved from the exams centre at Yeovil College to the Engineering Department as a Learning Administrator
What do you do now?
I’m still working as a Learning Administrator; however, once I complete the course I hope to use my qualifications to progress within the college.
What do you like most about your course?
Smaller group sizes than other universities allow more one to one attention and tighter knit social groups.
What do you like most about the UCY?
I like the friendly atmosphere and modern facilities at the UCY. As the UCY is separate to the main college it has more of a campus feel about it and the staff are always very helpful.
What attracted you to the course and the UCY?
I particularly enjoy the economic aspect of the course as I find it interesting and like working within the group. The student background is very diverse and we all learn a lot from each other.
What have you found most challenging during your course?
Working full time and studying for a degree has been challenging, however, it has enabled me to develop my time management skills to become more organised.
What is your best memory from your course and time at UCY?
The happy dialogue between students and staff!
Why would you recommend the UCY?
The UCY has given me the flexibility to continue my career whilst maintaining a full time job.
