ILEX - Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law & Practice

This is the second year of a two year course which completes the preliminary stage of the ILEX membership examinations.
(To complete the first year students should enrol on the ILEX Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice)

What will I study?
Mandatory Law Units:

• Law of Tort
• Contract Law
• Land Law

In addition, you must complete two further practice units:

• Civil Litigation
• Conveyancing

How will I be assessed? 
Mandatory law units are assessed by means of a 1.5 hour closed book examination (for each unit)
Practice units are assessed by means of a 1.5 hour closed book examination based on a case study released to students approximately 6 weeks in advance of the examination.

Where could this course lead?
Progression is to the ILEX Level 6 Certificate in Law or the ILEX Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice

Entry Requirements

To undertake an ILEX Level 3 course, applicants should have four GCSEs at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.  To commence the ILEX Level 6 Diploma, students should have completed the Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law, or have equivalent qualifications.
